After doing quite some work in dance performance, I started getting a bit dissapointed by the fact that dance is often quite elitist and has difficulties reaching new people. One approach we experimented with, was putting a dance performance into a club night. The Sirens evening was a big success in many respects, after the performance people could dance in the interactive installation. The only problem we experienced was a certain incompatibilty between club and theatre audience. We started the performance at 9:30pm, which was bit too late for theatre audience and quite early for the club people. Maybe have to do the show twice in the future.

Premiered January 2007 in Nürnberg
